So internet is the total combination of whole network which are located in the different corner of the world. Internet is the milestone of the present dynamic world. It is a large information center and one of the important media of communication and sending and receiving of information. Information can be post and collect through internet in various ways. Day by day the advantages of internet and information are increasing for the latest invention of technology.

The journey of internet begins with ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Administration Network) . First computer communication established via ARPANET in UCLA laboratory of Los Angeles , USA on  September, 1969. After this in 5th December, 1969 four computers of Los Angeles, Menlo Park, Santa Barbara and Utah University brought into network under a project of US Defense Division and officially announced the inauguration of ARPANET. At first this network was allowed for research institute and universities. The word 'INTERNET' begins in 1982 by the invention of internet protocol TCP/IP which establish connection between different networks.

Establishing connection between user computer with server computer for collection of information and communication  is called Internet connection. The internet connection may be two types :-

1. Online Connection
2. Offline Connection

Nonstop connection with internet is called online connection. Generally ISP and other Large companies use this type connection. This process is pretty expensive and for this individual users do not prefer this connection. Instead of the individual users use internet by sharing with server computer of an ISP and it is called offline connection. in tis connection the individual users send and receive their informations by connecting with the server pc of ISP. In the offline connection the individual users need personal computer, modem, telephone connection, necessary softwares and username and password provided by ISP.
